Tourist Information Centres

If you're planning to visit Liverpool and the city region look no further than our Tourist Information Centres for help, advice and inspiration or to take advantage of our booking services. Liverpool has three Tourist Information Centres, one situated in the heart of the city, one in busy Albert Dock and one in the main hall at Liverpool John Lennon Airport:
Friendly and helpful staff are here to help you get the most out of your trip. Multilingual* staff are also available at some of our TICs and will look forward to welcoming overseas visitors to the city in which they are proud to live and work.

08 placeWhy not visit the 08 Place where you can buy a selection of souvenirs and gifts? It's also your one-stop culture shop offering a range of services for the local community and visitors to the city.

Embracing the latest technology, the high-impact multimedia centre features interactive displays, internet access, a video wall, a ticketing and booking office.

It is also a cultural focal point for the community as it plays host to exhibitions and presentations.

Situated at the heart of the city on Whitechapel, the 08 Place is close to some of the major developments taking place in the build-up to European Capital of Culture 2008 including the Met Quarter Retail Development and the £900m Liverpool One shopping scheme.

It showcases and promotes the Capital of Culture experience and is the first port-of-call for people wanting to find out more about the city, keeping them up-to-date and engaging them with the celebrations.

Merseyside's most visited tourist attraction is now home to a new one-stop Tourist Information Centre. Based at Anchor Courtyard at the Albert Dock, this new facility offers a range of services for tourists visiting Liverpool in the lead up to the European Capital of Culture year and beyond. The Tourist information Centre is also home to a photography exhibition charting 20 years of the Albert Dock following the development of a derelict site to the thriving tourist destination it is today. The Exhibition features old favourites like Fred the Weatherman's Floating Map, to the amazing visiting Tall Ships which grace the Dock each year and so much more.
