Stuart Sutcliffe Retrospective

A major exhibition of Stuart Sutcliffe's art work will be shown at the Victoria Gallery & Museum. Stuart Sutcliffe met John Lennon at Liverpool School of Art and who persaused him to buy a bass guitar and become the first bass player with the Beatles. Sutcliffe left the band after touring Hamburg to continue his art studies. The exhibition charts the development of his style from his time at Prescot Grammar School, Liverpool School of Art and the Hamburg State School of Art.
